The rooms at Diggers Inn are absolutely charming! I loved the classic decor and the cozy atmosphere. The balcony was a wonderful addition, giving us a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view. The ceiling fan was a great touch, keeping the room cool and comfortable. the room had a welcoming and homey feel that made our stay truly enjoyable.
While I enjoyed our stay at Diggers Inn, I personally found the lack of air conditioning in the twin room to be a small drawback. However, I understand that some guests may still find the ceiling fan sufficient and appreciate the more authentic feel of the room.

Great location with plenty of nearby shops, restaurants, and a market. the rooms were spacious and had balconies. We felt safe while walking around the area. the hotel also had a café for breakfast and a good restaurant. the WiFi was reliable, and there was a secure parking area. the room had a fridge and a kettle for coffee or tea.
The hotel proved to be unreliable and showed a lack of organization.

the hotel staff were incredibly professional and handled our late check-in with ease. the rooms were clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished with 'period' pieces. the hotel's bar and restaurant, just a short walk from Reception, offered delicious meals and drinks. I also appreciated the secure parking area and the convenient location, allowing easy access to the town center. the breakfast, located outside if desired, was fantastic. Diggers Inn exceeded all of our expectations in terms of ambiance, comfort, cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊

Based on our experience, the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. the room we stayed in was well-appointed and comfortable, with a spacious shower and ample hot water. the staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. the on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the bar area provided a cozy atmosphere for relaxation.
We did encounter some frustration with the reception staff. There was a misunderstanding regarding the rate, and it took a considerable amount of time to resolve the issue.

Loved having a gym to avoid all the delicious food at the restaurant. The free WiFi was a nice touch too, now I could Instagram my fancy meals. Also, the laundry service saved me from having to do any actual work.
Oh, and let's not forget the wonderful experience of paying for self parking. Such a thrill.

Outstanding Dining Experience: The two onsite restaurants at Diggers Inn offered a delightful culinary experience. From the delectable lunch at Digger Pub & Grill to the mouthwatering dinner at the other restaurant, my taste buds were treated like VIPs throughout my stay. The chefs deserve a standing ovation!

We had a fantastic stay at Diggers Inn for two days. The location was perfect, close to the railway station and right in the heart of town. The rooms were well-appointed and very comfortable, and the associated restaurant offered great food and value. The bar area was a hidden gem, with funky decorations and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the hotel was a peaceful oasis in the midst of a busy town. We highly recommend this hotel.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had a wonderful stay at a conveniently located hotel with easy access to shopping and the freeway. The staff was welcoming and ready to provide alternate accommodation if needed. The room was comfortable and the supper arranged for me was delicious. The hotel also offered a rich history of the mining industry, which I found fascinating. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and excellent customer service.
